I had a great time in Mexico and luckily got to fish/dove hunt Lake Guerrero in Mexico. The Bass fishing was insane, and if you've ever caught schooling speckled trout in the Gulf, replace those trout with bass and replace those rigs/marsh grass with half-submerged trees!!!

I still wish I would have set up a double-rig on that trip, because It was very possible to get a double-hookup. Although we didn't go in the winter, (where its just about guaranteed to catch an 8+ pounder) we caught tons of bass (1-2.5 pounds) with nonstop action! I mean, you would see one hit the surface, lob a crankbait and let it sit, and in a second that bass would hit again and there was one on!!!!

Our guide was great, even though he didn't speak much english. I had to use my spanish to interpret for my dad, so that was pretty cool too.

Sorry I've focused on only one place, but for fishing, it was awesome.

I've also been to England, and many places in the U.S. (not so much the northeast)

I’ve caught catfish on 3 continents, and my goal is to catch one on all 7. :0a16:

Australia, 1 trip, 8 weeks total. 2002 Bicycled for 4 weeks, drove around for 3 weeks, spent a week in Sydney at the end. Visited 6 of 7 states there, everything except Western Australia.
Nepal, 1 trip, 6-7 weeks total. 1999 Spent most of the time there trekking the Annapurna circuit and then to Mt Everest. Spent about a week in Kathmandu.
Mexico 2 trips, 6 weeks total. 1995 Bicycle trip down Baja, boat to mainland, train and bus to El Paso. Other than that, just a 3 hour border hop back in 1983 at Laredo.
Canada 3 trips, 4-5 days total. Mostly from a business trip to Toronto, with a border hop at International Falls (crossed the border to go to Pizza Hut, lol) and another at Thunder Bay for a few hours.

I’m not sure I have any more long overseas trips in me, but I have been giving a lot of thought to a 1-2 week trip to Egypt to fish for Nile Perch sometime in the next few years. And we are working on a trip to China for next year to visit Tiffany’s parents, who are on a 2 year job assignment in Shanghai. For me it will probably just be for 1 week, because that is all I can take off at once.

    I think I’ve been to 33 states.

I didn't travel much before Vern and I got together. Just to Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. We really haven't been to alot of places, but Vern took me to North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Illinois, Missouri and my favorite place we go is Florida(Okaloosa Island). One day, I hope to travel outside of the US.

Most Border towns ( Mexico ) that join Texas.
Then from all over Texas to Washington D.C., New York City, all States in-between and back a few times.
over seas, Spain , Greece , Italy , Germany , Switzerland and may have slept through some other places. LOL. I cant name it all, some I cant remember, some I cant spell, some I cant pronounce and some, I missed the sign when entering the town/state/country. Some I got lost in. LOL.

I lived in some of the above places, rest was a visit. Sometimes not long or pleasant. LOL. Had a fast life growing up. Was not in Military but travel with Military some and some on my own.
Now, I just go to the lake , sometimes to a friends house, when not in my back yard watching dogs and squrrel's . LOL.
I get excited when my ISP works, or dog catch's a squirrel. LMAO

Well, let's see. My list may be rather short compared to some of the previous ones . I've been THROUGH quite a few states/places, but as for spending any time there.....
All over NC, from the Outer Banks to the mountains.... NC is a vacation wonderland! The Smokey Mountains are awesome, extending into---
    The great state of Tennessee, where I've stayed in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge;
Several beaches in SC, but my favorite place on the SC coast is Charleston.
Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach, Florida; Virginia Beach, Virginia...
Flew out of Dulles International in Washington, DC once (didn't get to explore our nation's capital, YET)
Ended up in Scotland....visited Catrine, Ayre, Kilmarnock, Glasgow, and Edinburgh while there.
Travelled by car from NC to Texas twice in my life.....once to the panhandle (Shamrock and Amarillo) and once to the Houston area.
New York City for a whirlwind trip lasting three days and two nights way back in 1986....
and most recently to the beautiful state of Kentucky, for the BOC national gathering of 2006.
