Lets say you just landed a 20-30 pounder, but there is no way you can put him in your livewell? Where on earth are you guys keeping these fish?

On a rope in the water on the side of the boat? spare cooler???

I'be be too worried that he was going to die to try that I think. I'd probably jsut weigh it and take tons of pictured and let it swim on. I'd be mad at myself if I killed a fish that big that I was planning on releasing.

Perpahs there is a way to rig it up though so it can swim outside the boat.

I have a 120 gt. cooler with an aerator in it and I usualy but ice in it if I'm fishing a tourney. Other than that I just turn em back after pictures.

I try to weigh, photo and release a soon as possible with as little handling as possible if you really need to keep one alive the super large cooler with a heavy duty aereator would probably work until you got to a weigh in so you could release it properly

Lately, I've been keeping all my big ones in the lake.:big_smile_2:

If I could catch something that would not fit in my ice chest, I would tie it to a rope.

I'd pull a Roland Martin hold it as close to the camera as I could to a pic, then tell every body it was 60 pounds.lol

There are some really nice livewell setups in the BOC library. I really don't need one cause I don't fish tourneys and I mostly keep them in the river for some fun later on down the road, LOL!!!!

A fish that size gets CPR'd right after I weigh it and snap some pics.
