Where can't I find bluegill in 40-50 weather?

    im thinking about going out sunday and i want to get some cutbait. where should i look for the bluegills? Are they gonna be hard to find?

    About the same places you always have. Are plus are mius a few feet of water but not far from "home". Are that has been my experience in the past.

    thats right and also in the fall and winter months, a friend told me to use shrimp, a very small hook and just a pinch of shrimp. I tried it and caught a bout 30 in 45 min. They were perfect size for live bait or cut.

    Deeper in the lakes and ponds and I like in the deep holes in the creeks.

    Opinion: If you can find Shad or have not tried it yet you should. :wink:

    never tried shad yet. im thinking about getting a cast net!

    I went bream fishing this morning and found them from about 8 inches to 6 foot of water. Shad were a little harder, only got about 6 with 10 cast of the net. They were in about 14 foot of water hugging the bottom.
