Chris, Indian channel is more of a holding area. The channels left this area long ago to spawn. I guess the good part is the spawn is over. Some fish are beginning to return to this area. It will be a week or two be for they are back on the feed. Catfish move up and down the river with seasonal changes, water flow ,reproduction, temp and food. The main thing is if your not getting fish move. Not all days are on fire. The other night it took 8 holes and many miles of river to produce 3 fish.

Have you ever fished near the bridge? Boat or bank fishing there?? I stopped by there a week ago, and there was a lot of families bank fishing. I'm not sure what the were fishing for? They was also an adult and two kids fishing under the bridge in Eastmanville Bayou. I don't know what they were fishing for either? I didn't stick around. DEERJOHN

I'm from MI and fished for years. The great thing about MI is the variety of the fish that you can catch during the different seasons. I've relocated out to the east coast now and we have these big tidal rivers that produce some monster cats. If any of you ever get out this way to fish you'll never want to leave.
