Where are the Salmon in Snohomish county

    So far ive only found some on the stillaguamish but even those ones are getting few and for between. Who knows the systems around here. Help out the new Washington guy. :wink:

    Sorry, Richard -- I'm just seeing this now, so it's too late to help with salmon this season. Next year, you'll want to check out the Snohomish River, as well as the Skykomish (AKA "the Sky").

    And if you're interested in steelhead fishing, head to the Sky in the next couple of weeks for a decent chance at a hatchery fish. The Reiter Ponds area is crowded, but it's crowded for a reason. Use a jig under a float -- and tip the jig with a small, dime-size piece of raw prawn.

    The couple of times I fished there for salmon, it was always in the Mighty Columbia. I love your area, and hope you get into 'em!
