I was wondering, with all this rain and how much the cumberland river has risen, is it any good for catfish and stripper fishing, and if so where are some good places? I'm new to all this and the only places i've fished at are the steam plant and right behind hooters. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the BOC and yes the river is high. I just fished in the bass pro tourney on saturday and there was some fish caught but not for what the cumberland has in it. It is still the same very high and alot of trash/debris. Also current is very fast. The water temp down around clarksville was about 54-56 degrees. If you go fishing good luck to you.

i fished the cumberland the same day the tourny was going on, everyone i talked to didn't catch anything, me and a friend caught 6 blues, i was just wondering if the fishing is going to be good or a hit and miss situation
