Where are all my PA peeps at ....

I went out Wednesday night to Pinchot State Park and it was the slowest night I've had this year. Only a couple hits and one small bullhead. Haven't found the big channel cats in several weeks.

Sure did Jim. I haven't fished for smallies since sometime back in early June or late May. Been chasing cats at night all summer. Good to see you over here!

how is everyone doing? just wanted to sy a big hi to everyone i am from Alabama and me and my family are looking to moving to PA maybe next year or the year after. We are looking to moving to the Steelton area, if anyone is from that area and knows any good fishing aroudn there i would appreciate it that way i would have a heads up when i get there and want have to run around trying to find a good spot. thanks for all your help everyone. and good luck to everyone when you go fishing.,

You have some good fishing in the Steelton area, mostly the Susquehanna River. There are also some good local lakes and the Juniata River which as some good cats in it would only be 30 minutes away. Lots of options in that area.

Tim I've been doing the samething up here, but only in the daylite. I dont get along to good in the dark anymore.

I did try this morning for Smallie's, only got 8 all in the 12 13" bracket. I was sorry I didnt bring my Catten stoff with me.

At least you're getting out Jim, that's the important thing! I usually go cattin' from 8 or 8:30 pm until 2 or 3 am depending on the fish activity.

hey i fish the delaware. havnt been serious catfishing for over a month now but i did catch one cat the other night when i tried for about 10 mins for cats before i had to leave. lol ive been doing more smallie fishing but its been good and i havnt been ble to get up at night so there u go. caught about 15 smallies the other day in about 3 hours with a shad looking spinner also a bunch of sunnies, i would hate being a baby shad coming down the river right now. gonna try getting out this weekend or next week be4 i go back to school
