Fernando Gonzales heads home to an uncertain welcome after fishing at Cameron Park East on Tuesday. Gonzales rode his riding mower to the Brazos River because, he said, his wife took the keys to his vehicle so he wouldn't going angling on his day off . However, Gonzales' trusty mower saved the day.

Do ya think he could mount rod holders on the front of that mower? Might make a nice bank fishing rig.

Now that is some dedication, atleast if the grass is to high at his fishing spot he can cut it.

I have an old garden tractor(I posted a picture of it in the racing lawn mower thread) In the summer on many evenings you can see it here at the lake by the boatramp below my house.I am the guy you will see sitting in the lil' red yard trailer on the back with a boat seat mounted in there. It makes a very suitable, comfortable bank fishing rig..... Yes I know.I AM a redneck

Yes and a proud one! LOL When I go to our pond I back the truck right up close and let the tailgate down, everything is right there with a nice seat for myself.
