I'm replacing the bearings sometime this month on my 4 tire trailer.Removed 1 set and took to my local parts store/mechanic/repair shop.He looked it up and thought he said it was a A-10 ?Anyway, they were almost 13$ each, not a set(inner/outer)...thats almost 120$ with tax and grease.I only paid 500$ for the boat/motor/trailer.

Obviously,I'm going to check around, but is this an average price?
Never bought bearings before so I have nothing to compare it to.

If you get a good bearing you will pay about that for them. You can get the cheaper ones made in china if you want to chance it.

Check out Bearing Distributors, Inc., I think you will probably find a better price than auto parts stores.

just did mine today from NAPA, inner bearings outter bearings, and a seal had 25 bucks invested...It looked like someone had taken one of the races from an old bearing and turned it around and tried to use it as a grease seal..People always try the easy way out.
