I dont really worry about the heat. Just take alot of water to drink and I'm normally fine. If I dont get a bite in about 3-4 hours though I will probably leave.

Rob, I know you, I think you are a complete idiot for doing this. LMAO

Brother, we have done some dumb things in our life. But fishing in any weather is not one of em. We need to hook up and wet a line sometime in the near future, then, we can make sure we make up the same lies when we get back on here and post about it. hehehe

When the temperature is 90 or above you have to be careful when out in it. Take plenty of water and watch out for heat stroke. You want the time out to be enjoyable and not end up in the emergency room at a hospital.

I have three methods for fishing in 95 degree heat. One: go trout fishing and wade in 50 degree water. Those true blue trout guys love it when I splash around in my cutoffs and "slip" and fall in up to my neck. "Course Im carrying a Zebco. Two: watch fishing on TV in an air conditioned living space. Three: trotlines. I sweat like Niagra Falls in hot, humid sunlight. Can't catch anything else 'cause I can't see enough to bait a hook.

Yeah fishing in the heat is no good. I went out to catch some bait yesterday for a couple hours. Temp: 108 degrees.

When the weather is hot (at least around here) the bite seems to slow down a bit. Just make sure you stay hydrated with some water. I don't care how hot it gets I will put a line in the water whenever I can. God Bless and good luck

Been right at or over 100 here for a week, the other night it was 90* at 10 PM. When it's like this it's time to stay home for me, too old to fight it.

Hmmmm, they make portable AC units, get a nice portable pop up tent and you are set for the warm weather Rob. Go out and buy those and let me know when you want to go fish these hot days.

We will go rough it, LMAO.

I agree with Sam,when it is this hot outside it's time to stay home and post like heck on the BOC web site...With my age and the heart attack I had several years ago I can't take the heat very well. When I do fish this time of year it is early in the morning and I leave the water around 10:30 ,or I fish at night...

If you are going to fish in high temps be sure to take lots of water with you to hydrate yourself. Beer soda tea coffee dont count and any caffeen with dehydrate you so water and plenty of it is in order for hot and humid days.
