It could be ABOUT fishing and/or water or good for listening to while on the water. I think one of the best ones is "Country State of Mind" by Hank, Jr. But I also like "Cool Change" Little River Band, "Into the Mystic" Van Morrison, and "The River" by Garth Brooks. Think I'll have "The River" sung at my funeral. Don't worry, I'm not depressed or anything!:smile2:

My fav has to be the song by the locals-the bull frogs and crickets and my clicker singing.Next it would be any song by John Prine.

This is not meant to offend anyone. It is really all about respect. We all forget and fail to think at times.I am talking about people that I love here.Silence is my favorite sound when fishing. Then nature can talk to me as it pleases.I know that they are good hearted and well meaning, but many people seem to be miserable unless they can share their music with every one else. They are so sure that EVERYONE just has to love the sound of THEIR music, and THEIR songs. There seems to be a direct relation to noise level and the amount of drugs and alcohol consumed. Most seem to get lost in their own little world which has no room for anything but their selves. This happens when you do your thinking with your fingers and your dial.Think! When was the last time you considered others with your music. If you don;t,you should.Yes,I have stood up and clapped when a radio went overboard.I love music,BUT I don;t go places and FORCE mine on others. Please think about and consider others when playing your music. Many times we are selfish without realizing it.We are human. We all do it.Thanks,peewee-williams

If your post offends anyone Peewee, then they are people without respect for others in the first place. I, too, love the sounds of nature. The awesomeness of God's creation is very spiritual. Music makes my world a happier place, but I would never subject others to something that they found offensive.
