Everyone knows that Flatheads come from a wide range of colors. some come solid colored, speckeled, or multiple colored. I like the Black ones Very Rare in our river. I like Yellow better. But my favorite color and only seen one in In-Fisherman Catfish In-Sider is solid lime green. and it was 60 some pounds. Everyone has their own Opinion whats Yours?

Yellow is real nice. I like the very dark gray mottled ones too, though. Don't see them much around here.

No I didn;t know that they came multicolored.I have only seen one Cat Fish that I thought might be a Flathead,as we were not suppose to have them where I fished.I didn;t know that they came in colors like some Goldfish.Unique! How about Spines like other Catfish? I am talking about the hard spines in the leading edge of their fins that Catfish stick you with. Are any of the flat head's fins different from other Catfish's fins?peewee-williams

I like the yellowish gold ones myself. They sure do come in a variety of colors. Earlier this month I caught two 25lb flats an hour apart, they looked almost exactly the same except for their color.

I just like the classic mottled color. The yellow-gold ones like rushing said I like a lot too. But I have to say a marbled look I like best.

I like the look off the yellow ones myself. They always seem to weigh more also.
