I'm here in Central Iowa watching the rivers rise towards flood stage and haven't had a chance to get the boat out on the water yet......just wondering what your water temperature is right now and how the fishing is. I am guessing that the rivers here are still pretty cold and in the upper 30's.

What type of water are you on? What state? Whats your temp?

Most of the ice has come off the river this week. So I guess mid 30s maybe.

I was on Truman lake yesterday and it was 53 to 54 depending on where you were, out in the deep water and shaded coves it was around 50 to 51.

I'm in central iowa too and it sounds like you're about right on with the temp. I'm going out Saturday to see if the bite is on at all.
