Id say my best season is winter. I fish a couple warm water discharges from power plants and the catfish are stacked high in these areas in winter

March, April, and May are the best months for me. I catch a lot of fish and some big ones this time of the year.

wow, thats a hard question to answer. until this year i would had to have ruled out summer but i have had a great summer this year. for numbers of nice blues, spring would get the nod. for lots of good channels, winter without a doubt and for BIG Fish fall is definetly my favorite time.

I'd have to say Spring. I have the most luck during spring no matter what I am fishing for.

In the middle of summer here in texas. Why? I fish lakes and the fish are very concentrated on the thermocline here in texas. Winter would be a very close second also.

Hopefully the fall's cooler days will trigger more active feeding during the day before the winter sets in.

Spring is best for me if we dont get alot of floods which force me from my best bank fishing locations...Other than that Fall.

I love the spring. The weather starts to warm up and the fish are fairly easy to target. I have not fished the fall season really hard because I usually get tied up deer hunting, but with the wife pregnant this year I may fish more since I am closer to home and can "be ready to leave" faster!!!

Winter is tough fishing, but you can catch some BIG PIG blues in the colder weather. You gotta be tough in those cold conditions.

Summer is nice. Flips flops, shorts, warm weather, but I seldom fish in the middle of the day anymore. Daylight til about noon and then an hour or so before dark until the bite dies. You have to play the cards right with the spawning and post spawn, but it is good fishing.

Far and away it's Spring. Until this year, lol. I couldn't buy a decent fish this year until June.

I can't keep the fish off my line every time I go. (<-----wishful thinking)

I would say summer for numbers and fall for size in WV.

I enjoy fishing most in spring, but catch the most in summer. Hope this fall will change my mind though.
