A lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a sheriff's deputy. He
thinks that he is smarter than the deputy because he is a lawyer from
New York and is certain that he has a better education then any cop from
Houston. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the
    deputy's expense.

Deputy says, "License and registration, please."

    Lawyer says, "What for?"

Deputy says, "You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign."

Lawyer says, "I slowed down, and no one was coming."

Deputy says, "You still didn't come to a complete stop. License and
    registration, please."

    Lawyer says, "What's the difference?"

Deputy says, "The difference is, you have to come to complete stop,
that's the law. License and registration, please!"

Lawyer says, "If you can show me the legal difference between slow down
and stop, I'll give you my license and registration; and you give me the
ticket. If not, you let me go and don't give me the ticket."

Deputy says, "sounds fair. Exit your vehicle, sir." At this point, the
deputy takes out his nightstick and starts beating the ever-loving dog
out of the lawyer and says, "Do you want me to stop or just slow down?"

I wish to caution you I-95 travelers in Georgia.Seems that some of our rural county deputies in the past have been known to beat VICTIMS severely while our state patrol observed. It has been a while, but the last I heard these people were still employed.WHY?Also I would caution anyone in the need of a BANK to bypass RINCON Georgia. It seems the locals and the FBI are at their best while endangering and terrorizing children and arresting innocent customers while the bank robber rides off into the sunset. They were reputed to repeatedly refuse to view the banks camera. After all,it is far safer to play terrorist with a innocent father and children than to endanger yourself actually trying to catch a potentially dangerous robber. Now I am repeating what I have heard in public.I believe in backing my law enforcement with my life if necessary.I also think it is a shame when they are a shame to the public and I feel like it is covered up or kept as quiet as possible. How can they work for the public if they are not responsible to the public.Only through knowledge can the public make a correct decision. With out it,we are slaves.peewee-williams
