If you want to be able to start it and go hunting the GMG is 100% the way to go. I can completely control it from my phone anywhere that I have cell service. I can also program it to cook at whatever temp I want. I can tell it to change that temp based on time or temperature of the food. These things are amazing. You won't have any trouble as long as you have a strong enough WiFi signal.

Yes. It does. Insulated too. They look freaking sharp.
But, they are having tons of trouble. My neighbor, who's a dealer, has had every timberline returned. Also, treager put out a software update a couple months ago that cause every Timberline to fully shut down. They had it fixed in less than 24 hours. I bet people were crapping themselves! Lmao

gmg has a lot of issues too with the wifi lots of people returned lots of them due to it. myself personally wouldnt want wifi i leave my rig running and go do some things i also know how long I can go before needing to add more pellets etc. I know of 4 here local with timberlines nd no issues with the wifi and one guy who has never even used the wifi lol but yea the timberlines are sweet looking rigs i like the new look.

You're totally right about GMG with the Wi-Fi. But I would put money on a bet that only 1 in 50 are not user error. Especially after figuring mine out. I installed a WiFi repeater.

More backstrap and biscuits last night. I scored some pork steaks this morning so think I'll cook up a couple and fix some of the red skin potatoes. Not sure what else.

Not much happening today food wise. Took some deer link sausage biscuits to work this morning. No kids over tonight so eating alone watching football. I put a little reaper hot sauce in the orange soy dip for some tempura shrimp. Its perfect, not too hot, just right.

I have a 75 top catering, tomorrow, that I am prepping for. So, Sara cooked. It was Kraft with cut up hotdogs in it. Filled the hole lol.

Let's try again. I have 40 pounds of pork butt going. 10 pounds of tater salad, and 293 ounces of baked beans + bacon and whatnot in them.

    Way to go, Mike.

    Looks good, Kyle.

Last night venison soft tacos. Tonight...not sure. But I just pulled some country style ribs out of the freezer for tomorrow. Most likely will cook them in the crock pot. Tater salad sounds like a good idea, too.
