I just had a little bit of mashed potatoes last night. Tonight was some trimmings from ribeyes the other night that I saved for myself. We hit 23 today. I wore shorts!

My new years resolution was no more donuts...not only did I fall off the wagon, but I dragged in the woods, set it on fire, and used the insurance money to buy dozens of Dunkin donuts.

I had a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's last night. Just wasn't feeling like eating and the wife said I had to have something so I picked that.

Last night was fried rice, teriyaki chicken and crab rangoon. Homemade crab rangoons rolled up in the egg rolls style is freaking amazing.

I'm having soft boiled eggs and an English muffin for breakfast. Sara gave me this gadget right before Christmas. Cooks your eggs absolutely perfect however you want them.

Gonna make a pot of tater, onion, and ham soup. Cold rainy weather demands it.

Last night was burgers that I ran through the garden, thank you Deb, shells and cheese, and smoked baked beans. Pretty tasty if I do say so myself.

Homemade pizza tonight. I've got half a ham in the fridge that needs using. I'm not sure what I'll be fixing tomorrow night but you can bet your bippy that it will include ham.

Sorry have not posted much lately, been tearing up floors. New floors and carpet in yesterday.
Lately made potato ham and onion soup like Deb, another night beer batter cod and coleslaw.
I think all the boys are coming this weekend, so sine we didn't get to do our big Christmas meal, I'm gonna cook a full turkey dinner Saturday

Good to see you posting more, Mike.

Last 2 nights was ham, mac-n-cheese, and peas. Tonight will be turkey breast cooked up with some onion chunks, probably some mashed taters and whatever else comes handy.

Turkey was good! I now have some pintos soaking so some chili can be made tomorrow. And yes, I put beans in my chili. We gotta stay warm, ya know. 21* right now with about 1/2" of ice with over an inch of snow on top of it here. Still snowing to beat the band. Snow isn't a problem....ice however is. We've got sagging tree limbs. Just hope they don't take out the power lines. But we have been through much worse.
