I have read a lot of threads here on the BOC where some one would start a thread on a paticular subject then have some take the thread in a different direction than what the thread started about. What would you say a good word for this is?

Sometimes it is done ententionally to ease the tention in a thread and other times it is done unententionally. Either way, it happens, it has been happening scince before I came to the BOC and will always happen.

Sometimes it is a good thing, and sometimes it ain't, LOL!!!

I sure hope it doesn't get as hot tomorrow as it was today.

It's hard to sit in the shade when the sun shines under the tree top.

I'm going bass fishing to see if I can catch a catfish.

Oh I'm sorry for the sidelined, redirected, hi-jacked, silly post thouhts.

Sounds Like the old "Bait & Switch" to me. Or maybe since we're talking about threads, it might be a "Slip Stitch".

    It's "Thread-Jacking", that's what I've always heard it called.
