What up Sucker

    What kind of sucker fish is this? I was at East clear creek recently and I caught a couple of these on a night crawler...

    Thats an endangered humpback bonysquaw pikefish.

    After a cusory investigation it seems those are a new genetically engineered trout Game and Fish are stocking.

    You know, after reading up on their reproductive cycles, the mother bears an offspring every 60 seconds like clockwork.

    Hi Tony,
    I thought that was what it was too.. But the coloring looked off... I used to catch desert suckers all the time when I was a kid fishing in area canals.. Does not quite look the same. But you are probably correct.

    my brother called'em bonytail. and i know he would never get online or even open a book to see what they really were. but it looks like the ol fishermen had it partly right. guess that go's to show yas about them ol fishermen. their story's are at most half right! LOL
