Gonna have to try catch some if I'm gonna fish any this year. Guy at the local bait shop isn't selling ANY live bait at the moment due to high shipping cost and fuel surcharges. HELP guys.

A starting guidline . I would use 1/16 oz jighead on a 2" white twister tail. Place two are three in line according to the laws in your state.

Adding to Mickeys post, use a heavier jig on the end of your rig, makes casting easier.Small spoons will sometimes work when nothing else will. Sabiki rigs and small crank baitsare other options.
I caught one a few weeks ago on a 4 inch live shad while striper fishing. Any small shad type bait should work. Some days they will hit anything that hits the water, but they are fish so some days its hard to catch em no matter what you try.
