Well Pete since I started buying sinker slides from you I mostly use bank sinkers or flat bank sinkers. I like to go this route because if I go to the river to fish off the bank and get there and find they are releasing more water than I had planned I can just change the sinker and not have to cut my line and totally re-rig.

But if I'm fishing under one of your cat bobbers then I fish with a sliding type sinker such as an egg sinker or a no-roll.

Sinkers are like any other fishing equipment. Everybody has their favorits. Depends what situitation your fishing. For me I like the no rolls the best for the ways I fish. I have buddies that fish the same waters I do but they like bank sinkers.

Been a while since I have checked the website.... I use sliders, but most of the time I go with the sinker slide with a dropper down for the weight.

I use the sinker slides I got from you so most of the time I use bank sinkers. When I use my floats I use egg sinkers.

Depends what I think might work. I use no-rolls when I want the bait
on the bottom in current. In a lake I use 2-4 oz. egg sinkers with a
small bobber above the hook on the leader below the swivel. If I use
a three way rig, I use bank sinkers. Yes, I have a big tackle box.
All that weight makes it heavy, too.

Well Pete - I always use to have a No-Roll Sinker on my line because I find myself fishing in more rivers & I like the idea of it being flat for better holding in current + the idea of the fish not being able to fill any resistant when taking the bait - but I didn't like the idea of having to retie my set-up just to change my sinker weight.
    :confused2:
But now I find myself using "Pyramid Sinkers & Sinkers Slides" because of it. :0a23:

No-rolls 90% of the time.Egss on my slipfloat rigs.I use crescent sinkers with a swivel on one end only, and rig these as sliders in rocky areas, they come through the rocks very good.Cast all my own sinkers.

No-rolls if fishing in heavy current like the ohio river. Around my home town since we dont have much of any current I use the egg sinkers. I cast my own weight.

I always fish with weighted floats(bottom or suspended) and always had the lead Barrel weights smashing lead tight against the line after many times of hitting together by the hard plastic beads causeing damaged and loss of fish IMHO several times:angry:.

I kept my eyes opened for a long time and then I found these tungsten steel weights a few years back, which have a teflon tube insert that saves the line) (Shown)They come in 1/4 -3/8 and 1/2oz sizes allow you to adjust the depth on any 6-9" weighted float to the desired height.

Also I found the soft rubber/plastic beads which keeps everything apart and all in good shape...
