I like to sauger fish in the winter. Sauger are delish! and they are a blast to catch! normally when i go blue catn in the winter i take a medium rod some curly tails and a few minnows just to catch some sauger as well. any of you havent fished for them, or ate them, ur missing out

Catfish and Saugeye take up the most of my time in the winter....sometimes I catch white bass too.

I fish for walleye and sauger in the winter because I enjoy them on my dinner plate. I just dont know what to use for catfish bait in the winter. Too hard to catch the shad! And it sees that most other bait other than cutbait just catch the smaller ones.:confused2:

This will be my first year fishing past October. But I could see myself targeting walleye/sauger. They're a fun catch.

I'm gonna try and get some wall- and/or saugeye fishing in this year... It's going to be a learning experience, but what the heck...
