What kind of Monster rod holders would you bye
Iv got a 17 56 g3 john boat .an looking at the rod holders but i get confused.
I mainley lay my rods off the back of the boat .an have some holders a boc member made that work good. just want to add 6 more.an you all keep saying monsters are good.
My rods are 66 diewa beef sticks with abu 7000s .
Which for my james river trip will be switching my rods to e cats 7,7s.
so i can have a rod that has softer tip to load.
My ? is what degrees would you bye.An would these be adjustable to fish your rod horizontal.as i do of flatheads.Sorrie so long.an is there any rod racks that r good.

Wade you can check out my rod holder pics in my albums.I have some of the 33/45 degree off the back for anchored tightlining but I have four mounted down the side of the 0/33 for drifting. You can get by with either but it is a compromise.I prefer the 45 for anchored fishing unless it is windy or big waves , then a lower rod tip is best.I prefer the 0 degree for drifting but some prefer the 33 for all fishing.Good luck and Monsters are the way to go.

Randy. I would go for the Triple Play Monster Rod Holders. This way you have all 3 angles covered. Seen Steve's video on them and they look great. And are strong enogh for the biggest Cat out there...

I usually don't use them, just lay the rods on side of the boat.I usually have two holders out just in case a rods gets a run I can stick the other one in the holder and not worry it while doing battle with the other one.
