I see plenty of posts bragging on the weight of someones catch. The question I have is how did you weigh it? What kind of scale do you use or like or would reccomend?

I use the berkley 50# digital scale. I am going to get a bigger one just in case but the one I have was only 10 bucks on sale. It works fine.

That's what I have, but I have bottomed it out a couple of times, so...my next scale is going to be a coffey scale!

If I bottom that one out, you'll be seeing me on every fishing show imaginable!!:big_smile:

I used a digital bathroom scale to way the 57lb I caught last weekend. I weigh myself, then myself with the fish and subtract. I have a set of Cabelas digital scales, but they only go up to 50.

I use a Berkley digital 50# myself. Seems to work great as long as I keep fresh batteries in it.

I also use a Berkley 50# digital scale. I love it and I have had it for about 2 years and still reads accurate!! I test it before i go cattin' with a 5lb, 10lb, and 15 lb weight. It has bee withing 1oz for two years. the oz is to the bad so that is good for me. I love to count them ozs. Who know I might need that 1oz to break the world record catfish I'm going to catch this weekend!!:smile2::smile2::smile2::big_smile:
