What kind of Rod do I want??

    I know another what kind of rod question but I don't want to make a mistake on choosing a rod!!

    I have a Abu Big Game 7000 HSN reel, the water I fish are river dams usually high moving water. Bait is cut shad, live bait & worms, target fish are Flatheads & Blues. So help bros. what kind of rod?? Give me brand & size cost around $50-$85. Thanks

    If you want the Cadillac's and Lincoln's, go with the tiger rods. If you want ford's or Chevrolet's, go with the large surf rods from Academy. A 16' pole is about $37.00, smaller poles are cheaper. These poles will last just about as long as the expensive ones - if you take care of your equipment. Shut it in a car or house door, it will break... so will the expensive ones. LOL
