Just curious what 1 thing in your tacklebox you absolutely have to have on your fishing trip. For me it's my nail clippers that I wear around my neck, with all of the line that needs to be cut during fishing I'd be lost without them.

Thanks for the idea, Brandon! Think I need to put the clippers and the spool of thread (to wrap liver) on a chain around my neck! The disappearing thread trick gets old in a hurry :smile2:

It would have to be my fishing license, and the one thing i could do without is my stringer. My tacklebox was stolen a couple years back and i had to buy everything new again and the second trip or so this year i didnt have a stringer yet and thats when i caught my only channel cat of the year, only a 6 lber but havent had any luck as of then, since i went and got a stringer. Now my polycord stringer is only used to bundle firewood to carry back to camp. uuugghhh, Geoff (Night Owl) Cloutier

Hook remover or needle nose pliers, knife or clippers to cut line, or my trustly no slip glove to grab those mean ol' cats.

This is silly, but for me it's a smell. My box is at least 20 yrs. old, an it's pretty clean, but there is a smell to it, not bad, just different from the new smaller box I got for the small boat....like lift the lid & get a good memory of a past trip.
