I really like the cold weather fishing. You will see me out there this January in my insulated coveralls having the time of my life! Those big fish are all cuddled up in the deep water. All you have to do is talk them into biting

I love the fall of the year when the cool weather hits. Give me a few weeks of 60 degree weather and some water temps in the mid to low 70's and I am in hog heaven...

I prefer early to late fall. If I don't land a big ol cat...well it is still a beautiful, cool day

Anytime I have bait , gas , and a spot to go to.
Although , winter is best for scouting from land due to hibernation issues with fire ants , snakes , et al.

Especially mosquitoes , flies , and gnats that seem to believe their at home in your ears and eyes.
