What is your favorite fish to eat ?

    I eat more Catfish then any other fish , but my favorite is rainbow Trout . Cooked with Andy's mix in little grease in a cast iron skillet...mmmmmm

    Fresh water has to be brim wish they got to be 15lb's would'nt that be fun to fish for??:crazy:, but I eat a bunch of blue's

    Salt water,, Halibut, or mahi mahi, grilled!!

    I just had my first Sauger/Saugeye a few days ago and that was probably some of the best fish I've ever eaten.

    Freshwater in this order: 1)Walleye/Saugeye/Sauger 2)Yellow Perch 3)Crappie/Bluegill 4)Catfish under 6 lbs 5)Rainbow trout

    Saltwater: tossup between flounder and black sea bass

    Freshwater-crappie, catfish, rainbow trout in that order and deep fried.

    Saltwater-Grilled Triggerfish, Grouper any way, fried flounder in that order.

    Simple: Bluegill, walleye, crappie, white sucker, hi-fin, buffalo, flathead, blues, bass, red snapper, dolphin,(the fish) Spanish mackerel, black fin tuna, yellow fin, that is just what I can think of off hand. :eek:oooh:

    Fresh water- Best fish I've eaten was actually a largemouth bass out of a crystal clear creek in the flint hills. I like striper too.

    Saltwater- Red Snapper or Mahi. Can't go wrong either way.

    Crappie then catfish. I'm cooking about 5 pounds of each tonite. Already filleted and waiting for the grease.

    Anyone who fishes Erie will probably agree, the cheek meat of Walleye. I love those little tidbits.:smile2: Then Bluegill,crappie,Walleye/Sauger/saugeye.

    Saltwater it's Spanish and King Mackerel hands down. In Freshwater id have to say Striped Bass then Crappie.
