What is your biggest Flathead? And just for fun, what is your biggest fish other than a Flathead.

    My Flathead is 43.11

Other fish, I caught a 40 pound stingray if that doesnt count, I caught a 37 pound Mahi Mahi or Durado.

I think it would be cool for us to set up a list and to update it as we get bigger fish. What do you think?

He was 120 but whos counting? lol Bull sharks up around 200, redfish up to 40. Kingfish at 30, blacktip sharks up around 80. man I miss the saltwater!!!! By the way..all caught on the same gear I use for flatheads. Basically the same rods as most of you guys, penn powerstick medium heavy 6'6 and shakespeare tidewater 6'6 medium heavy, i prefer the "coffee grinder" reels though. I feel like I have more control over the fish with those reels.

I've had a tarpon to the boat that was an estimated 150lbs but a bull shark ate him right in front of us before we could release him :sad2:...

That sucks man!!! So instead of 150 he was 20 or so? Your lookin in the water to find your fish and then you see the shadow behind it, what a terrible feeling..been there done that. Tarpon put up a fight like no other fish I have ever caught, just an awesome fish.

RCA said ounces not pounds !!!!!! LOL All kiddin a side my biggest is 70 pounds, last year at a undisclosed location. Yes I have the picture, Ill post it up in the next day or so. It was released, and there are no official scales where I fish, and I wont kill the fish, even if i knew it weighed 100 pounds to go have it officially weighed. My nine year olds PB is a 12lb flathead, and 18 pound channel.
