My 9 year old caught his PB flathead last night. It was 12 pounds, went fishing with Brianthelion, bigfisher17, and Kevin. His PB Channel is 18 pounds which is incredible. No help at all from dad with those two fish, he pretty much goes with me everytime I go, and has caught many 4-10 pound flatheads.

Thats awesome!!!! I've got a three year old little girl that I take carp fishing with me at the pond down the road every saturday. Last weekend she got a 7 or so pounder in with minimal daddy help. (after that first run of course!!! if she would have had the pole for that she woulda went skiing!!!) Anyways I cant wait to take her for some good overnighter catfish trips. Took her to the Verde up here one afternoon and she got a 4# flat, thats bigger than I have gotten out of the Verde. Tell him congrats, thats a feat getting it in with no help.
