What have you found in your Catfish's bellies?

    So far I have found small baby turtles (spring time) And a small musk rat in the belly of a 20 pound channel.

    Grain, corn, shad, hooks..weights, half of a foam bobber, moss?, flies, rocks, goldfish, looked like paper of some sort,

    This year we caught on that had a chicken bone in the belly

    This week I found the front legs of a turtle and a LM Bass fingerling.

    I have found some deer toes..lol.. and a baby squirrel..and lots of mussels and frogs

    This year I have found several rubber worms, and even one of those yellow bait tube holders. I cleaned one this year that had about eight inches of mono coming out of his but. I pulled on it and it had a panfish hook stuck in its but. nutty

    I fillet mine (small channels) and try not to cut through the organs to look inside. I have found bass fingerlings and crawdad parts though.

    lol If i remember right that fish was around 8 or 9 lbs..The part of the toes was the black part.. but he had a part of them..I guess someone thru the deer remains over a bridge .

    Crawdads, Japanese Beetles, muscadines and small bluegills and shad minnows.

    Found six buckeyes in a 9lb blue,its gut was all swelled up we thought it was full of shad.Pretty suprised to find that,my buddy said we were using the wrong bait!!!!

    Late fall a couple of years ago found paw paw seeds. I always find crawdad parts, but the strangest thing was last year when I cleaned one out of cheat lake that had a boat key in it's belly.

    I read in Outdoor Life or Field and Stream or one of those outdoor magazines once of a catfish with a wrist watch in its stomach.:eek:oooh:
