What do you think of this Crawdad trap?

    Its a bit more elaborate than needed but I was bored:big_smile: I made it double sided. I hate it when the crawdads pull the bait thru the wire or eat it all so I made a removable bait cage suspended from the middle to always keep some bait in the trap. Hopefully it will keep the crawdads in the trap busy and more coming in. A 1/4" rod support across the center to tie the trap off.

    Nice trap.the traps we use her in Louisiana have a much bigger mesh size and are made out of a wire kind of like chicken wire but dipped in rubber.But those are for crawdads to eat not bait.Your is a much better design for bait crawfish.Should work flawlessly.
