Cat's are way to stringy (taste like chicken) and, dogs are to tough, LOL!!!
I tend to just stick to beef, pork, chicken, wild game and, fish (on rare occasions)

I prefer cats....one does not have to babysit them with being able to go away for a weekend and not worrying about them. Give 'em a clean litter box and a large bowl of dry food and their all set!

(Sorry Weed- they did ask me!!)

ps..I'm not into eating either. lol

Love havein my dogs (good protectors).
The wife had a cat once and I just couldn't take the spraying form it, it always sprayed the furniture and I couldn't take the smell of it anymore, so the cat is no longer here and I will not allow another one in my house.

That's about the best reason I can think of...lol. But, I still gotta go with a dog. As long as they got half a brain (I've seen some dogs that didn't) they're some of the best companions that's hard to beat.

Cats seem to be less grateful than dogs. Give a dog a treat he's a friend for life, give a cat a treat, well you just wasted a treat.

I have a cocker spaniel and the wife has cats. I'll keep the dog and you can have all the cats we've got. Guess that answers the question.

JW, I aint so sure. I haven't eaten dogmeat yet though. Cat wasn't as bad as folks make out it to be. Had it in a hamburger in some Greek town, I think it was Corfu or Thesilonica back in my Navy days. Now muskrat, that is some awful meat.

I like my cat but had to give it away because it kept beating up both the dogs, lol.
