I know we all take our poles ,bait ,net ,and the normal things. My question is what wont you go fishing without that maybe all the rest of our brothers have never thought of. For me it is a copy of the maps of Ohio's Waterways complete with all the footnotes I have copied in it over the years. This book is my gps ,and gives me locations of where I have caught fish over the years, as well as contours of places I've never fished at all.

that is easy...............TOILET PAPER!............................. Too many times I wished I had some!

As for fishing, then it would have to be my google earth maps. Same concept as the Ohio Hilljack. I write notes on them and then record specific details on my digital copies. Next time I print them out, they have the updated notes already attached.

I have to agree with brother hilljack.. the Toilet paper is a must.

I never go fishing without food or water.

Unlike andrew76 who leaves his wife at home my husband is never allowed to go fishing without me. LOL! If he does he's in deep trouble. :smile2:

I have more trouble deciding what NOT to take and what I really CAN'T take. I got so much junk I just hate to be without. I really need me a big old houseboat so I can have all my junk in one place. Anybody figured out how to mount an overstuffed rocker recliner on the front seat boat pedestal ????:eek:oooh:

The one thing I really would be lost if I didn't take it would be my (What I call) junk bag. Has my cell phone, camera, maps, rain gear, flashlight, battery's, drinks/snacks that kind of stuff in it.

I've had to kick my own butt already, left the house, driven an hour down the road and ARGH!!!!! knew I forgot it. Turned right around and went back after it. Those are the times you invent new words to call yourself.:embarassed:

Baby wipes. It works wonders for removing enough smell from my hands... Not all of it, but enough to allow me back in the house.
