haha my 8 years of active duty I wore the green, tan, and blue ones. Was stationed in San Diego for my Active duty days and out here in AZ in the reserves. Not many things compare to a WestPac at 19 years old, goodtimes!
never had to wear the blues thankfully lol never got the drift of that... i was up in pt hueneme a couple hours north of SD. never did the reserves but did my 5 and got out! yeah i can imagine that port to port would be pretty chill. i was in the sandboxes more than anywhere.
work maintenance on a golf course...do i golf?...no chance of that...lol....dont even like golfing....just a job for another 4-5 years till i can retire

Retired, and a keep active and put a little change in my pocket gig mowing electrical sub stations for the corporative, takes three days a week to mow them all when the grass is growing, during drought years I may get by mowing every other week.

Life long heavy equipment operator, my dad was heavy equipment operator, grew up on yellow iron.
Licensed General contractor for the Carolina's.... But, as much as I prefer new Residential construction... most of my work tends to be additions, porches and garages. Would like to do something different. Self employment is not as good as it may seem. These days, all these HDTV, home shows are making it hard on us contractors. Everybody's an expert these days because they saw it on a TV episode. Trumps my 30 years experience apparently.
