what cast net

    I want a nice net with the most weight and smlllest holes what would you get.

    From the title I thought you might have forgotten to tie the rope to the net before casting out!! Sorry I cant recommend any particular brand. I had one once but lost it in a debris pile I didnt see.

    I like the blue nylon ones that any wal-mart sells. The draw lines are mono. The white poly ones get tangled too bad. the draw lines on those are made of nylon twine.

    I have a 4 foot Betts with 3/8 inch mesh. It is very easy to throw and pretty durable. On their website they have a 1/4 inch mesh in a few sizes. They are more expensive on the website but I have never seen the 1/4 mesh size in stores. The net I have is the Betts Tyzac model I believe. I am going the the 1/4 inch myself because the 3/8 inch gets some of the smaller chubs by the gills.

    Don't get the Tyzac it is the worst net you will ever buy.
