Triline XT and Big Game line for just about everything, 6lb XT on spinning rod for crappie ; 8 to 20 XT for bass, with 20 Big Game for flipping; 15 to 30 XT and Big Game for cats. Have tried just about everything made and always come back to Berkley Triline. Tried the braids for river fishing and didn't like them at all, the worst part was the braid picks up so much grit and trash from the water it really eats up rod guides and gunks up your reels if you don't watch it. Had rather use mono and change line more often than put up with the braids. But everyone has their own ideas on a best line, you've just got to try different ones til you find what you like, they wouldn't make so many different kinds if folks all wanted the same thing. Ain't know one best line made that fits everyone.

At present time I have 30 lb. P-Line on my 2 Large Diawa Emblem Spinning Reels, 40 lb. Big Game on my Quantum Iron and 20 lb. Stren Heavy Cover on my PENN 320 and 7000c3. Plan on buying some 25 or 30 lb. Big Game for backing on my Penn 320's and 7000c3's and then put 100 lb. power pro on them that I bought a few weeks ago.

I have been using Cajun line and spyder wire the last two seasons. I like both of them. The spyder wire is teflon coated and seems not to work as well on some rigs. Think I need to spool it under more tension. Cajun is nice but have to remember to use a stick to break it off from snags. Cuts into ya really well if not carefull.

I use 60# Tuf-line Hi-vis yellow. I like the strength, visibility at night, and it's cast ablity.
