I have been a longtime fan of Berkley Big Game in the solar color, but now I am being told it is discontinued in this color, and I really like my easy to see line. I have been told by the guy at the tackle shop that Stren Suffix is the same thing because Berkley bought out stren and it is available in a high vis orange. Anyone tried this or have any other favorites? I have tried spiderwire once, and went away from it because of cutting in on my spool, but that was years ago and I think they have improved it alot.

In the river i fish I get snagged 90% of the time. I use 30 pound powerpro, anything bigger and I can't break it. I used to use the big game but can't find it in the stores:confused2:

I like braid in white or yellow 80#.I use a 6 inch mono leader in 50# in case i have to break it off.Wind the braid on as TIGHT as you can get it,that solves MOST of the digging in problems.

I use 30# cajun red and haven't had any problems with it. I used the light green sufix and it worked really well too.

Spiderwire has a braided line out , the tracer....its good braided line and it goes back and forth betweeen neon green color and black like evry 3 feet it changes color, really easy to see at nite. I use the spiderwire 50# braid camo and spiderwire 80# now on my reels
