Can anyone give me some help? I am wondering where the fish are biting and on what. Where is the bait, and is the bite a nighttime or daytime bite. Any help would be appreciated.

I havent been in about 3 weeks because of weather, but I hope to this weekend. As far as where to go, I would try the upper end of the lake, or the upper end of Abbots Creek. I plan to fish up near the "mud flats" in the main river. As far as bait, it tends to scatter right now. You may find bait balls, early in the mornings, but ususlly about now, there are some heading to the banks. If you are putting in at Hwy 8 Abbots Creek landing, bait can be a pain this time of year. I will be looking around the bridges. I probably will get bait in Swearing Creek, but there is no public ramp nearby.
