Walnuts and corn on the cob from my feeder.
Me too with chopped Basil leaves, grated Parmesan cheese, and Olive Oil. I live for fresh pesto every year about this time. Spread it on white bread and eat it like peanut butter.
They're eating acorns off of the God-forsaken Sawtooth Gobler oak in my front yard. They're dropping handfulls of leaves, acorn chunks and sticks on top of my truck and car. These aren't your average everyday acorns either, they have some kinda goofy looking top on them that the squirels dont eat......they just drop chunks of it everywhere. Just when i think i've gotten rid of most of the squirels (i've trapped or shot over 20 since april), more come around. I wish i didn't live in town, it would be a lot easier to rid myself of these pests. Too bad you cant use a shotgun in town limits
bushy tails are still hitting hickory nuts hard here. i did get a huge fox squirrel eating acorns yesterday, though its been the first this year that hassn't been in a hickory.
Pecans, pine cones, and, after it frosts, lead, and I don't mean bank sinkers.

I live in the OAKLAND CALIFORNIA area, and I can tell that it is FALL, because the Squirrels in my area are not only eating ACORNS, but they are starting to hide them for the winter.
