what are some of the biggest fish anyone has caught?

    what are of some of the sizes and kind of fish anyone on here has caught and opinions?

    My largest fish and species are as follows:

    Striped Bass= 45 lbs
    Striped Bass= 42 lbs
    Striped Bass= 38 lbs
    Bluecat===== 47.9 lbs
    Flathead==== 32 lbs
    Many of these species caught in the 20-30 lb range as well.:wink:

    Largemouth Bass - 6.5 lbs
    Paddlefish - 74 lbs (snagging)
    Channel Catfish - 10 lbs
    Grass Carp - 45 lbs (bowfishing)
    Asian Carp - 20lbs + (snagging)
    Rainbow Trout - 10 lbs

    Those are the only decent sized fish I can think of that I've caught.

    Some of my larger fish and species were: :0a23:

    Channel Cat: 21 pounds & many more Channels in the 15 to 20 pound range.

    Largemouth Bass: 10.3 & many in the 4 to 8 pound range.

    Striped Bass: 15 pounds.

    Bluegills: Many 1 pounders.

    Crappie: Many from 1 to 2 pounders.
    *******************************************
    No Blues or Flatheads (Yet :wink:) only because there not it the Ca. Delta.
    (at lease I don't think that they are :0a14:)

    Bass- 9.5Lbs
    the halibut dont fight until they get about 20 feet from the boat.
    the silvers fight til the end. if you catch a male watch youre fingers because they bight hard iv got the scars to prove it to.
    the others were all good fighters except for the rainbow.

    Flathead Cat- 17lbs.
    Walleye - 5.5lbs.
    Wiper - 13.1 lbs.
    Tiger Musky - 17 lbs.
    White Bass - 2.5 lbs.
    Carp - who cares! ok. 30 pounder caught while fishing for White Bass.

    No Blues yet. Gotta go where there at..

    7 to 10 lbs. Shark (scared the crud out of the swinmmers when the dorsal fin broke the surface)
    2.5 to 3 lb. Shellcracker
    6 lb. Bass ( could have had a bigger one but a bigger one broke my line)
    5 lb. Channel cat good sized for the lake i fish

    my biggest rod and reel fish is a 85 pound spoonbill last spring. my most sought after big fish has always been the alligator gar. i have hooked into gar i know were over 100 pounds but they manhandled me in seconds. some day i will go back down to the trinity and get one on the bank.

    My biggest was a Blue Marlin estimated at @650lbs. We brought it to the boat and released it to catch another day. I also have many tuna over the 100 pound mark.
