What about deer blood...

    anyone ever tryed that...lots o blood in a mature deer...just curious...i take 10-12 per year..could save up several gallons...

    Thats not a bad idea. I keep saying I'm going to save the liver, heart and kidneys for bait, but I never do. grizzly

    Sounds like a good idea to me.I've never thought about that,but I have kept a few livers.They work very well.

    Don't see why that wouldn't work. Some blood is supposed to be better than other blood, but I'd sure give it a try. The preference order I've heard, from least effective to most effective is: beef; pork; chicken; emu. That being said, the guy who told me this generally used beef blood, because that's what's generally most available.
