I WENT AND PICKED UP A SAIL BOAT LAST WEEK. { I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO SAIL]
I WAS CLEANING IT OUT AND WHAT DID I FIND ??? A BRAND NEW , PAPERS ATTACHED " BRITISH SEAGULL " 3 H.P. MOTOR . AFTER RESEARCH IT WAS MADE IN JULY, 1973.
HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF A HATFIELD BOAT ???
I WAS TOLD IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN MADE IN GERMANY.
THE BOAT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE 1982. I CAN NOT FIND A SERIAL # ON IT.
THE BOAT AND EVERYTHING IS IN GOOD SHAPE. I WILL RE-FURBISH IT OVER THE WINTER AND TRY TO SAIL IT IN THE SPRING .
I WILL POST PICTURES OF IT IN THE NEXT MONTH AFTER IT IS REPAINTED.
    ANY INFO. WOULD BE APPRECIATED

I don't know how to sail either. I would be lost at sea. Sounds like a cool find though. Good luck, and it will be interesting to see when ya get some work done on it.
