Went fishing below the dam at Quincy today with my nephew and two brother-in-laws.
We were catching some nice eaters,when brother -in-law says hey is that a body.
About 150yards across from us I see what he is looking at and thought it was a log till a arm comes up. We pull anchor and haul ass over there ,Its a guy in a life jacket. He was tubing above the dam and fell of and went under the gate, he is alive with only a bump on the side of his head. We ask him if there was anybody else in the water he said no. As we were going back up to the wing dam to see if we could get him back to his boat we see another guy hanging onto a ladder up against the gate. We are on a pontoon and a jon boat comes along side and we holler at them they come alongside and unload two guys with us and the other two go after the guy by the gate. after about ten throws they get a line to him and pull him out. Two very lucky guys. I have never heard of any body going through the gates and living. They were tubing above the dam and fell off got suck through.

Wow!!! Those guys are lucky. You guys are hero's to a couple of familys there. I've spent enough time on the water to have seen crazy people do stupid stuff.

Those are some lucky guys. I never heard of any one going thru the gate. Thats what I'm talking about. Thank God for the BOC and you! You are a hero! Reps to you!

Mike it sounds like you had the best catch of your life today ,seems like it was meant for you an the other boat to be there below the dam to catch those fools .Do they know how lucky they were .
