    I can hardly imagine being in the area when that happened, and the fact of no loss of life, unreal actually. I was thinking the trucks or a barge would get lodged and slow the siphon action but it sure did not seem to. Do you know what year that happened? Thank you for sharing the video.

    The history channel did a documentary on this awhile back. Its pretty wild to say the least!

    That was really something. I saw it back some time ago on the History Chl.
    When working in the oil patch I've heard em say they lost circulation... I bet when they drilled into that mine they got a real understanding of lost circulation. :wink:
