West Point Lake is now full of small blue cats. They seem to be reproducing like crazy. We've caught more small blues this season than ever before. There was a 25 pounder caught the other day upriver. Look for West Point to become a great blue cat fishery in the very near future.

Wonder what took the blues and flats so long to get going on westpoint??? As nice as it is and as much bait that's around wonder why it's not full of monsters??? Anyway, it will be in a few years....

I don't think they've been in here but maybe 8 or 10 years. I'm sure there are blues in here now that will go 30 pounds or better. There are now flatheads up the river 40 to 50 pounds and I just got the boat ready to go try to catch one.
