The Ohio is at 17 ft this am and will be dropping this week. Not much rain projected. If anyone is interested in meeting up Saturday for a night of fishing, let me know. I will post a list of those interested.

    DATE: SATURDAY 7/19/08
    WHERE: SALT RIVER BOAT RAMP
MEET AT THE PARKING AREA 6-7 PM PUT IN AT 7:OO ish
DIRECTIONS WILL BE POSTED IF ANYONE NEEDS THEM

HOPEFULLY THE RAIN WILL STAY AWAY THIS TIME!

If the river isnt too crazy Ill prolly head down that way. Is the ramp you are talking about on the salt river? The one you have to turn at the civil war signs to get to?

Is there a launch fee for that ramp?

You can fish wherever you want to. I have not had much luck fishing the Salt River, but I know other folks who have. There are places both upstream and downstream yu can fish.

Launch fee is $3.00; the money goes to help the ramp in good condition and keep it open. You can pay $30 per year if you use it enough.
