and no cats ! we caught some cut bait (blue gill) and 2 bull head...

one bull head was huge.it was a yellow one. whats a big bullhead ? ive caught some good sized ones before but the head on this one was impressive. it ate a half of a blue gill.

If it was a yellow bullhead 2-3 lbs would be a trophy..I think the record is a lil over 4 lbs..

3 pounds is good for a bullhead, but we do catch them over 5 some. Record is 6 or 7. There are subspecies yellow, black, and brown, but I'm not sure how big each get. I think the big ones are yellow. They eat good too, I much prefer them to channels.

I know, why??? Bullheads are much better eating than channels. I despise catching channels in the river where we catch bullheads, unless they're big.
