Took Dragger's Catoon for a trial catfishing run today.
Dragger's wife Debbie and my wife Linda went along.
We all had a great time fishing. The ladies wore us out.
We caught about a 130 lbs of catfish.Only 4 fish were Draggers and mine.
Talking about the big head those ladies had the big head.
They will never let us live it down.We had 3 flatheads, one good blue. The rest were channel cats.Had some around 6 to 7 lbs.
We fished to dark about 9:30 pm. That Catoon is a great fishing rig.
Got every thing you need right at hand. That trailer worked just fine.
The toon unloaded and loaded great with no hang ups.Dragger has great setup.A great boat and trailer to be proud of.He did a great job.
Got some pics of some of the fish to up load.

I believe my wife would have to agree with you on that one....lol
I would love to have a fishing contest, men against the women sometime.
That would be fun. My wife loves to fish and she don't care what she catches just as long as it bites her line.. I love to watch her catch'em
She is also a member (sairving).

Ace my name is Steven and I am from gastonia also. I was wondering if you knew of any good spots around here to do some good bank fishing. I don't have a boat so my fishing is limited to the banks. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    steven

Steven I have not fished from the bank in years.
Dale`s landing at the 74 bridge. I see a lot of people fishing from the bank.
If you know where Dutchman's Creek is in Mt.Holly, you can fish it from the bank. Our daughter and her family fishes it and caught some real nice cats.
The one in Mt Holly is a National Wildlife area. You can also fish Mountain Island Dam.They have parking access. Also you can fish off a small pier at Allison Creek landing in South Carolina. You need South Carolina fishing permit.
