Well I went out today, mid-40s, overcast/scattered light showers, water was up about 2 ft. I had some great bass action in the beginning w/ soft plastic - 2 largemouth and a rock bass. Nothing on the cat rod though. I fished a creek mouth. Smaller creek entering the main stream, which is about 60-70 ft wide at that spot. I used baitfish & liver, no hits or anything. But the bass were fun to catch at first until the bite just shut down. I tried for cats close to the creek mouth and out in the river. No takers.

    Here are my fish:

Way to go catman. At least you got some action. That's always fun.

nice catches. if you want to catch some channels move down stream and look for snags theres usually a big hole under there and there should be some cats piled up in a hole b/c they go down river when it gets cold. if theres no snags just go down stream and look for some holes. good luck!

Thanks, my main catfishing hole is just downstream of where I fished - it gets about 5ft deep at normal levels. Thats where I'm going next time...

Nice fish. The cat bite has slowed down for me too.
